Project Objectives
- To study and assess the feasibility, and define a suitable framework for storing four biometric indicators:
facial images, iris patterns, fingerprints, and voice samples. - To develop a centralized biometric database that stores these four biometric indicators for Thai citizens and foreign residents in Thailand, serving as a testbed for identity verification systems and technology evaluation related to authentication.
Phase 2: Biometric Data Collection in Trang and Ubon Ratchathani Provinces
The project received ethical approval from the NSTDA Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) on June 6, 2025.

Data Collection Overview

1. Facial Data CollectionFacial images are captured from multiple angles — frontal, right, left, looking down, and looking up. The total time required for facial data collection is approximately 15 minutes per participant.
2.Voice Data Collection
Participants are asked to read text displayed on the screen and respond to randomized questions for voice recording.
Each voice session records about 2 minutes of speech, with a total data collection time of approximately 15 minutes.
